Beautiful family

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the D family who have the most adorable 2 month old. This little guy is already a pro at looking at the camera.... I wonder if he's had a lot of practice at home?!!

I love the opportunity that this job presents of getting to meet such nice people. It was so easy for me to see that this baby truely has some loving parents who adore him. I hope I was able to capture that!

Look who kept showing up in the photos!

Christmas in July!

I so excited to be able to introduce some exclusive designer holiday cards, along with a fabulous promotion. I've searched high and low for cards that I feel fit my style and here they are...they are custom designed and can be tweaked to suit your style too!

A holiday photo card is always a special treat for friends and family who look forward to seeing how your child and family have grown!

As a special offer starting in September, all sessions booked and paid for from September 1st to September 30th will receive 40% off of the regular price for holiday cards... they're specially offered at $30 for 25 cards! After October 1st, cards will be regularly priced at $50 for a set of 25.

These are one-sided cards sized at 5x7, they are press-printed one-sided and for $10 more, they can be printed as fold-over cards to include your own message. They also come with white envelopes for mailing.

Just my kid

My Saturday session postponed until later on this week so that gave me a free weekend and some time to post some recent photos of Madeline. We ventured out to Toys 'R Us today because I decided that an 18-month old needs a toy shopping cart and on the way there, I took advantage of this photo opportunity.

This one was inspired by my fellow photographer friend Heather. When I saw her photo, I knew I had to something similar for Madeline because it was so fitting for her so I turned it into a storyboard. Every night I have to read her books and not just one, at least three. She's the only kid I know who will walk right past a dancing Elmo and go straight for a book instead. Once I get this mounted and hung, I'll post a photo of the final product!
Sometimes I just miss being in the studio!

More Taylor!

I am so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph so many gorgeous kids and Taylor was certainly no exception. This kid needs an agent quick! Thank you very much Brandy--I had a great time and please send me your email address asap... I forgot the last part!

The following four are in the running for my all-time favorites.

I would pay good money to have eyelashes like these!!
This was her mom's first baby doll! I'm so glad she brought it, what a fun way to add to a photo. I really felt like these needed a vintage treatment. I love how they turned out!

Gorgeous Taylor!

I know it was great session when the very first two pictures I look at look these... and the first one makes me "gasp"! Sometimes I can't help but pop them into my computer as soon as I get home (I seriously got home about 5 minutes ago) and then when I have to do minimal processing like these, it's even better!

If you look closely, you can see me standing in her gorgeous eyes. A small sneak preview of what's to come!

Storyboards

I know I've said it before but I adore these storyboards and collages. I think it's a great way to get more bang for your buck and save some wall space. Rather than order 4-11x14s, you can get them all on a gorgeous 20x20 print. They look fantastic mounted to matboard and hung frameless with a satin ribbon. I've been featuring a lot of "definitions" lately (because I have a lot of them!) but don't forget, if you have a favorite quote or saying, that can easily be put into place of the "definition."

But of course, my latest addiction is with gallery-wrapped canvases. Anyone of these images alone would make for a stunning museum-quality art piece!
